We’ve been caring for West Texas and the Slaton community for over 20 years.
2000 – Opened Slaton Family Medical Clinic at 235 W. Garza Street. We were blessed with many patients that Dr. Bendeck previously cared for transferred their care to the newly opened clinic and staff known throughout the community also joined our team to continue their careers in medicine.
Early 2000s – Lisa Torres became Office Manager, followed by Lucinda Hernandez. The clinic quickly grew into a leading medical provider for Slaton and surrounding communities with Dr. Tony Hedges of Littlefield serving at the first Medical Director.
2004 – Dr. Enrique Rodriguez became Medical Director and continues to serve in that role today. Over the years our waiting room was expanded and an on-site gym and physical therapy space was added to better serve patients locally.
June 2019 – A devastating fire originating next door at Klempke’s Meat & Sauasege Shop severely damaged the clinic. After much consideration, we temporarily cared for patients at the Slaton Development building and reconstructed the clinic where it stands today.
2020 – Proudly reopened in our remodeled and restored location.
Today – Proudly serving the Slaton community for over 26 years and continuing our commitment to local, compassionate care.
